The Imo State Scholarship forms part of government social welfare and cooperation responsibility to the Imo State Indigenes. The State’s Bursary of Imo state usually sponsors the Scholarship. This scholarship is intended to help students at learning institutions, particularly those with limited financial resources. Many students have been able to benefit from the Imo State Scholarship program over the years.

Many interested applicants didn’t know that this scheme allows you to be a beneficiary within the country and abroad. You simply need to be an indigene in the State.


Imo State Scholarship Scheme Requirements are as listed  below

To be eligible for the scholarship award, 
1: You must first be an Imo State indigene.

2: A student at an approved institution is required.

3: Good grades are essential.

4: Students at higher institutions like universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education are expected to have a minimum CGPA of 3.00

5: All eligible student must pass screening, where their credentials will be checked.

First School Living Certificate (FSLC).
Certificate of Origin
Statement of Result containing your CGPA (That is for University/Polytechnic/ College/ School of Nursing Students etc).

Eligiblity: To be eligible, you must come from any of the local government areas in the State
